All-Access Revamped: Our Year-Round Rock Band Program

We’ve recently modified our All-Access program to be modeled after our summer rock camp, as it was hugely successful this summer.  In All-Access players are grouped together and meet weekly for a 90-minute instructed band rehearsal to learn songs, write music and prepare for live performances.  While we’ve been running All-Access for almost a year as an “open ended” program, the feedback we’ve received is that a more definite timeline would help focus the program.  The changes to All-Access include a three-month timeline, which will allow us to offer four sessions per year (Jan/Feb/Mar, Apr/May/Jun, Jul/Aug/Sep/, Oct/Nov/Dec).  So players will commit to working with their group for a three-month period.  The group will then have the option to “re-up” for another session, or disband and work with another group.  Additionally, each group can plan on at least one live performance during their session.

All-Access is not exclusive to students currently enrolled in weekly lessons at Music & Rock School.  The program is also open to those who are enrolled in lessons at another studio, or have discontinued lessons.  Registration for the Winter Session (January/February/March) of All-Access is open now!  Deadline to register for the Winter 2012 session is Sunday, December 18, 2011.
